Legislative committees begin meeting for the interim on Monday, June 3 and will meet for a week each month through Friday, Nov. 22. Most meetings are held in the Capitol Annex in Frankfort, but several are slated for other locations. They are noted in the schedule below.
The meeting weeks are June 3-7, July 8-12 and July 19, Aug. 19-23, Sept. 9-13, Oct. 7-11, Nov. 18-22.
The Interim Joint Committees are made up of lawmakers from both the Kentucky House and Senate, and are co-chaired by each chamber’s committee chair.
Here is the weekly schedule for the 2019 interim:

1 p.m. – Health and Welfare and Family Services
3 p.m. – Transportation
8 a.m. – Budget Review Subcommittees on Economic Development, General Government, and Justice
10 a.m. – Budget Review Subcommittees on Education, Transportation, and Human Resources
1 p.m. – Appropriations and Revenue
3 p.m. – Natural Resources and Energy
10 a.m. – Banking and Insurance
1 p.m. – Education
3 p.m. – Licensing, Occupations and Administrative Regulations
8 a.m. – Local Government
10 a.m. – State Government
1 p.m. – Economic Development and Workforce Investment
3 p.m. – Tourism, Small Business and Information Technology

Friday, July 19: The IJCs on Local Government, Transportation, Licensing Occupations and Administrative Regulations, Health and Welfare and Family Services, and the subcommittees on Economic Development, Small Business and Information Technology will not meet at their regular times this week and instead will meet at Northern Kentucky United on Friday, July 19. The location will be announced.
Thursday, Aug. 22: The Agriculture Committee will not meet on Monday, Aug. 19, but instead will meet at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville on Thursday, Aug. 22. Other committees may meet there as well.
